Former President Barrack Obama endorses Joe Biden
“Michelle and I have been amazed at the incredible bravery of our medical professionals who are putting their lives on the line to save others; the public servants and health officials battling this disease; the workers taking risks every day to keep our economy running and everyone who is making their own sacrifice at home with their families all for the greater good. But if there is one thing we have learned as a country from moments of great crisis, it is that the spirit of looking out for one another can't be restricted to our homes or our workplaces or our neighborhoods or our houses of worship it also has to be reflected in our national government the kind of leadership that is guided by knowledge and experience, honesty and humility, empathy and grace.  That kind of leadership doesn't just belong in our state capitals and mayor's offices, it belongs in the White House, and that is why I am so proud to endorse Joe Biden for president of the United States. . . Joe has the character and the experience to guide us through one of our darkest times and heal us through a long recovery, and I know he will surround himself with good people experts, scientists, military officials who actually know how to run the government and care about doing a good job running the government and know how to work with our allies and who will always put the American people's interests above their own. . . So we need to do more than just tinker around the edges with tax credits or underfunded programs. We have to go further to give everybody a great education, a lasting career, and a stable retirement. We have to protect the gains we made with the Affordable Care Act, but it's also time to go further. We should make plans affordable for everyone, provide everyone with a public option, expand Medicare, and finish the job so that healthcare isn't just a right but a reality for everybody.”

New Book “The Toddler in Chief”  ‘What Donald Trump teaches us about the modern presidency’ . . .recommends rethinking the presidency.

Charlotte Pence Bond, daughter to VP Pence, creates “little news” designed to help kids understand and cope with Coronavirus on you tube.  Kids can send in questions via video, and then she can use access to her father and the c-19 team to make a response suited to children. Now I disagree with VP pence on numerous points but I think his daughters idea is genius, it exploits the YouTube sensation among this new digital generation in a way which lots of kids can relate to.

The news we watch is segregated; not by race, but by network.  Only Fox news has members of Trump’s administration on it, only Fox hosts the GOP for interviews.  The Democrats are located on MSNBC, and to a lesser extent CNN which strives to be a middle ground, but that is hard to do if one party boycotts your network.  If the Administration says ‘a’, Fox will repeat ‘a’ in every cycle stating all the boons of ‘a’, but ignoring the liabilities of ‘a’.  MSNBC will also repeat ‘a’ but show the liabilities and ignore the assets.  CNN will try and split the middle but is handicapped by labeling from Fox and the president bundling CNN and MSNBC together as fake news.  Any other media which dares to ask a hard question gets labeled as ‘the Radical Left’ or ‘Fake News”.  President Snowflake is at the helm, no hard questions allowed.

Trump actually used US dollars to produce a video he revealed at one of these coronavirus rallies/press conferences.  Propaganda produced and directed by the white house behaving in exactly the same way as Fox, that is touting every success, every good idea or act while ignoring the failures and insisting there cannot be any failure because of the success.  When confronted with the lack of information about February, Trump got flustered and had a “you’ll see” response.  All through February the Admin took no visible actions and Trump downplayed the virus all month long.

Far too many people have died already and far too many more will die before this is over.  I intend to split the morning and evening numbers from here on out, making a morning daily count both Global and US, but I’m saving the closing for just Maine from here on out.

Maine infected         734                 770
Increase Infected     36                   34

Maine Dead              20                   24
Increase Dead          1                     4

While I isolated, tracked this and entertained myself, 34 more Mainers took ill and 4 of us died.
