No Legacy Headlines, it’s my day off.

Please note that the upward trend globally is unchanged.  It remains a 45 degree incline as it has been since the beginning.  Here in the states we lose 1,000 people per day on average, slightly down from NY’s peak but remaining flat with wobbles.

The world seems to think ‘It’s over!’, at least that is what Donald Trump seems to push and they seem to swallow.

It is not over, it has barely begun!  I expect 3-4 years before a viable vaccine with efficacy is available.  A vaccine by X-Mass would be without a phase three or with very rushed phases, none of which bode well in vaccines.  Vaccines need to be fully tested and viable, if you administer untested or poorly tested vaccines you could kill a lot of people and ruin the reputation and trust involved with all vaccines.  A false rumor started an anti-vax movement, which still thrives.

In my own life I suffered an existential problem.  My medications now outpace my disability by about double, making the medicines needed to keep me alive and well, they are more than many people pay for rent.  So how is my medication and treatment of more import than a hungry child?

It’s not, but I get it for my service, and a baby can go hungry; that stuck in my craw for 48 hours.  I could not agree to the new medication.  It took hashing and re-hashing to work out a rationale wherein I need the meds and have to take them, my personal survival was not enough.  I had to include climate change and how my family is striving to prepare for the world ignoring it.

And climate change keeps marching along . . .

While I worked on this in isolation, 4,541 of my fellow humans died and 944 of those are my fellow Americans.
