Surviving C-19
July 1, 2020

164 Days since first US infection

Well what do you know, prominent members of the GOP are telling people to wear masks, now that 30 states, mostly red ones, are all in bloom.  I guess they realize that if all the elders die, youth rule. Maybe it was Fauci’s war face, answering question but no longer the upbeat Dr.  Now he is stone faced saying, yea we got 50,000 a day, soon to be 100,000 a death with death as a lagging indicator.  That we lack a national response, and we require one.

Same things he has been saying right along, except now he seems resigned, having got an answer to the age old problem all epidemiologists both have and fear: will they listen?  Will the people heed warnings and obey science, or die like flies heedless of advice?

His face says we picked the latter.

***This will be forty years too late***
Beavers are gnawing away at the Arctic permafrost, and that’s bad for the planet

While I worked on this ion isolation 5,136 more of my fellow humans were exterminated by C-19, of those 1,061 were my fellow Americans.  As number reached and exceeded NY’s totals, some states began to close back down.  That is too little too late, and they shall pay for that in blood, and we shall also pay for their failures in our own blood.  That is the way a global pandemic works, we either all react as one, or we all pay in blood.
